The Glendronach and Clynelish are two distilleries producing whiskies with intense mouthfeel. While Glendronach derives it’s tannic, syrupy quality from the exclusive use of first-fill sherry casks, Clynelish produces a unique waxy spirit unaffected by the cask type. We will closely examine the history and production techniques of these distilleries and compare their delightful whiskies, which have garnered religious followings.
